People going out for foreign employment now can pay the insurance fee for Foreign Employment Term Insurance Policy Fee from Khalti Digital Wallet App.
Foreign employment has increased enormously and the workers who seek opportunities overseas are mostly for better employment. The Department of Foreign Employment made arrangements for every Nepali who planned to go for foreign employment to have term insurance. So, Khalti Digital Wallet, in collaboration with Jyoti Life Insurance, has made arrangements to pay insurance premiums through both mobile app and website. After the insurance, the insurance company bears the cost for any worker’s health issue.
The insured person has to fill in the details with their passport number just by clicking on the Department of Foreign Employment (DOFE Insurance) under Government Services inside the Khalti app and pay the required insurance fee. Similarly, the payer can also pay Foreign Employment Welfare Fund fee from Khalti.
