Foton Nepal launched its revolutionary Mountain EV Van in Nepalgunj on December 29, 2024, at Siddhartha Cottage Restaurant. Designed specifically to tackle Nepal’s challenging terrain, the Mountain EV Van features an advanced 53.58 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 300 km (NDEC).

With a peak power of 130 kWh and a maximum torque of 330 Nm, this EV is built to perform with ease, even on steep hills.
To mark this momentous occasion, Foton Nepal is hosting a 3-day exclusive test drive event, where customers can experience the exceptional performance of the Mountain EV Van firsthand. Following the launch, Foton Nepal has also inaugurated its new showroom at Surkhet Road, Milan Nagar, Ward-20, (Opposite Bheri Karnali Petrol Pump).
The inauguration was graced by Tushar Gupta, CEO of MAW Vriddhi Group, Vivek Kumar Shrestha, Managing Director of Western Auto Center, and Chiranjibi Oli, Sr. Vice President, Nepal Chamber of Commerce & Industry. This event also marked the opening of the Foton Service Center, further enhancing customer convenience and support.
The Mountain EV Van is ideally suited for various applications, including school transportation, government fleets, and employee shuttles in cities like Nepalgunj. With configurations of 14-16 seats, spacious interiors, and a luxurious design, it offers comfortable and efficient transportation for both daily commutes and longer journeys
