Girls In Tech Nepal and ERC-Girls Committee 2076/2077 In Association with Free Student Union at Purwanchal Campus, Dharan is going to organize the Women, Technology, and Entrepreneurship Program at Purwanchal Campus, Dharan-08, Sunsari, Nepal. The event is going to be held on Monday, 30th December 2019, from 7 am to 10 am. The event Girls In Tech organized at Purwanchal Campus will be supported by Robotics Club, Purwanchal Campus.
In Nepal, girls still lag behind boys in terms of access to and use of Information Technology. Barriers such as gender discrimination, lack of confidence, language difficulties, low literacy, and lack of time and money continue to prevent girls and young women from taking full advantage of ICTs.
