Eligibility Criteria for Bidders
To qualify for this bidding process, bidders must meet the following requirements:
Firm Registration: The bidder must be a registered firm, company, or organization operating under applicable laws in Nepal.
Technical Expertise:
Demonstrated expertise in DMS technologies.
Proven track record in successful DMS project implementations within the banking sector.
Partnerships with authorized OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) or DMS providers.
The bidder should have satisfied clients who can provide references.
Experience in implementing DMS in at least two public or private sector banks in Nepal or India.
Team Requirements:
The bidder must have a team of at least three developers/system administrators based in Kathmandu, Nepal. The team members should be listed along with their certification details.
Software and Deployment Experience
The bidders must provide a robust framework to implement the DMS system that meets the bank’s requirements. The solution should:
Ensure data security, scalability, and ease of integration with existing systems.
Demonstrate proven results through a track record of successful implementations.
Provide authorized partnerships with OEMs to guarantee continued support and upgrades.
System Requirement Study (SRS)
Before submitting their bids, shortlisted bidders will be invited for a System Requirement Study (SRS) meeting between September 16, 2024, and October 30, 2024. During this period, bidders will gain insight into the bank’s current document landscape and provide a comprehensive report outlining their DMS implementation strategy. The report must ensure the preservation of existing data without any loss during the migration process.
Bid Submission and Purchase
Eligible bidders can purchase the complete set of bidding documents from the Global IME Bank Limited, General Service Department, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, for a non-refundable fee of NPR 10,000 until October 9, 2024. The payment can be deposited in Account No.: 003700524005 (Other Income-Misc.).
Important Bid Terms
Validity Period: Bids must be valid for 90 days from the date of opening.
Bid Bond: Bids should be accompanied by a bid bond or cash deposit voucher equivalent to 5% of the total bid amount.
The bank reserves the right to extend the bid validity if required.
