Global IME Bank Limited has officially launched the Global Junior App, designed specifically for children aged 12 to 17 years. The initiative aims to foster good financial habits among young individuals from an early age.

Global IME Bank Global Junior App

The Global Junior App is a digital banking experience tailored for this age group, allowing them to develop saving habits while also managing their savings under parental supervision. Through this app, children can not only save money but also spend their savings when necessary, promoting a sense of financial responsibility.

Global IME Bank believes that this app will provide a modern financial learning experience for children, with the added benefit of parental oversight and guidance. The app is designed to be a safe environment for young users to develop financial management skills.

The Global Junior App offers features like balance checking, transaction inquiries, and QR code payments. It is easy to activate on the child’s mobile device in coordination with the parent’s Global Smart Plus mobile banking app from Global IME Bank.

For the first year, the Global Junior App can be downloaded and used free of charge.

Global IME Bank has a strong track record of launching timely and relevant initiatives to benefit its customers. As the first private sector commercial bank with a presence in all 77 districts of Nepal, the bank has a vast network of services, including 354 branch offices, 379 ATMs, 255 branchless banking services, 68 extension and revenue collection counters, and 3 foreign representative offices, totaling over 1,100 service centers.
