Guthi Sansthan Janakpurdham has issued an official public notice directing individuals and organizations to dismantle and clear illegal structures constructed on Guthi-owned ponds and embankments within Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City.

Operational Deadline: The public notice orders unauthorized occupants to vacate encroached lands and clear illegal physical structures within a mandatory seven-day window.
Enforcement Action: Guthi Sansthan warned that non-compliance within the stipulated timeframe will trigger direct demolition and legal proceedings under prevailing laws.
Administrative Authority: The enforcement drive is executed pursuant to decisions made by the Implementation Committee formed to enforce the 2062 BS High-Level Task Force report on Guthi Land Protection and Management.

Phase Two Target Ponds and Historical Scope
Second Phase Scope: Guthi Sansthan Chief Rajan Kaushi confirmed that the second phase targets 15 specific ponds and embankment areas for complete encroachment clearance.
Designated Ponds: Targeted sites include Devan Pokhari (Chandrakup), Madhyama Sar, Rukmini Sar, Bidal Sar (Birahi), Genhi Pokhari, Thadi Pokhari, Lavki Pokhari (Rajoul), Kapalmochani Sar, Purandar Sar, Lavki Pokhari (northeast of Zero Mile), Laxman Sar (Balaram Sar), Papamochani Sar, Agnikund, Sitakund, and Viharkund.
First Phase Precedent: The institution previously utilized heavy machinery and bulldozers to clear unauthorized developments across seven ponds in Janakpurdham, including Gordhoi Pokhari, Dasharath Talau, and Bishahara Pokhari.
