How Elon Musk, who made computer games at the age of 12, became the richest man in the world

Elon Musk, who earned USD 500 from a computer game at 12, has turned 50 yesterday. During this period, he has succeeded in becoming the richest man in the world.

Born in South Africa on June 28, 1971, Musk’s success story begins early.

In 1984, he sold the code for his first computer game, Blaster, to the magazine PC and Office Technology for USD 500. Also known as an astronaut, Musk’s Blaster game was about space.

According to an article published in the biography portal, he made his first game after learning that he could make money selling software. He had bought a new computer with the money he earned at that time.

Then, in the mid-90s, he teamed up with his brother Kimble to develop Zip2 software purchased by a company called Compaq in 1999 for USD 305.

Understanding the importance of money, Musk launched the online payment company X.com, now known as PayPal, a month after selling the software.

E-Bay was the largest online payment company at the time. Just two years after the launch of X.com, eBay bought PayPal for 1.5 billion and merged eBay and PayPal services.

Musk, who is working on software, had the same goal, ‘space.’ He wanted to increase the appeal of space exploration among the people. In this connection, he reached Russia, where the process became more difficult than he thought. He wanted to buy a spaceship from there and take it to Mars. But the Russians did not give him a second chance.

And then Musk did what he had been doing. When his dream of buying a spacecraft did not come true, he started building a spacecraft. Then began SpaceX.

In 2002, the private space exploration company SpaceX was born. The company’s first spacecraft, the Falcon One, failed three attempts to reach the orbit, and the fourth attempt in September 2008 reached the falcon orbit.

SpaceX, which failed in three attempts, succeeded in making Musk’s fourth attempt, thinking that either it would happen now or it would collapse forever.

This effort made SpaceX the first private company in the world to successfully build its own spacecraft. Meanwhile, NASA also provided 1.6 billion in financial assistance to SpaceX.

Last May, SpaceX’s ‘Falcon 9’ arrived at the Kennedy Space Center with a crew of people. In a journey of about 18 years, SpaceX has evolved from a single thought to become a popular name in space exploration.

Musk is world-famous because of another company Tesla. The car company, which was started in 2002, was founded by Martin Eberhard and Mark Turpin in 2004, while Musk founded the company in 2004.

From that time until today, Tesla has provided many good vehicles to the electric vehicle market. Due to the growing demand for more environmentally-friendly electric vehicles, Tesla has created a good market today.

Thanks to Tesla, Musk has become the richest man in the world today. In January, he became the richest man in the world, surpassing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. His current net worth is over 185 billion.

He wrote on his Twitter account after receiving the news that he is number one on the list of the richest people in the world that ” I will spend half of the money I earn to solve the problem of this earth, and the other half of the money I will use to build a human settlement on Mars just in case if there is a human settlement crisis on Earth.”

He has the same dominance in cryptocurrency as in other areas. Not long ago, one of his Twitter posts caused the price of Bitcoin to fall in the market. The price of Bitcoin plummeted in the market after Mim shared on Twitter that his attraction to cryptocurrency had waned.

Musk has always wanted a lot from his life, which has helped bring him to this place today. However, his journey has not yet taken a break.

Loving all the planets, he is busy with the Starlink Internet project for Earthlings. Announcing just a week ago, SpaceX’s Starlink Internet coverage will be available worldwide from next September.

SpaceX plans to have 4,200 satellites in low-Earth orbit by 2027, potentially providing Internet access worldwide. Musk tweeted this Saturday, “The number of companies using Starlink has reached more than 69,420.”

Musk has become very popular not only in business but also on social media in recent times. His followers enjoy the funny posts he shares.
