Apple by ditching the fingerprint scanner in the latest iPhone range, Face ID has gained immense success in the new iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR. When it comes to unlocking the device Face ID is always smooth and quick in comparison with a passcode. However, the accuracy of Face ID was criticized in iPhone X. Now with the new iOS 12 update, Apple has now brought the option to add another ‘Face’ that can be used to unlock the iPhone using Face ID in iPhone X, XS, XS Max, and XR.
This feature can be used to advance the efficiency of Face ID by registering the same Face twice to offer more biometric details so that the iPhone unlocks more rapidly. Also, if you wear spectacles, then you can use two Face ID for more accuracy by using one Face ID with glasses and another without scenes.
Apple has appended the option to identify another Face ID on the new iPhones, so, that users who wear spectacles or sunglasses don’t face complexity while unlocking their iPhones.
On the other hand, you can also add a trusted Face to unlock your iPhone. So, instead of sharing your passcode with your trusted partner, you can register his/her face as optional Face ID on your iPhone. Doing so will allow that trusted partner to unchain your iPhone by just looking at it. So, here is how to add another Face ID on your iOS 12-based iPhone X, XS, XS Max, and XR.
