If Your Laptop Gets Very Hot While Running, Then These Tips Will Definitely Help

A laptop, laptop computer, or notebook computer is a small, portable personal computer (PC). It consists of a screen and an alphanumeric keyboard.

Laptops give you the components of a desktop computer packed into a portable unit that you can take anywhere.

Due to the Corona epidemic, large numbers of people around the world are working from home.

In Nepal, too, most of the work is at home due to the ban. In this case, the use of laptops has increased a lot.

Laptops help you a lot but the problem of overheating in the laptop is also seen.

The problem of laptop overheating should not be ignored. Because of this, your laptop can break down very quickly. Here are some tips to help you avoid this problem.

Why Does the Laptop overheat?

Generally, Laptop overheats because of insufficient cooling.

Dust blocking intake grills, exhaust ports, a clogged-up fan, or generating thermal paste are also the reasons for heating.

Tips to Stop Laptop From Overheating:

 Fix Internal Cooling:

The first and foremost important thing to do is clean the fans that provide cooling to the CPU and graphics card.

Keep the Laptop on a Hard and Flat Surface:

The uneven surfaces, like a blanket, pillow, or your lap, will obstruct its airflow.

Subsequently, cooling is impaired, heat builds up, your laptop surfaces get hot, the internal temperature increases, and eventually, the laptop will overheat.

The solution for this problem is to keep the laptop on a hard and flat surface. The best option is to get a special laptop holder or lap stand.

Clean the laptop in two / three days

The laptop also gets heated due to airflow in the laptop, i.e., dust accumulation on the air inside.

In this case, the laptop needs to be cleaned every two / three days.

Rest your laptop after work

During work from home, the laptop runs continuously for a few hours. The laptop heats up even when running continuously for a long time.

Therefore, the laptop should be rested for a while when the work is done.

When running the laptop for a long time, shut it down for a while and let it cool down. Always turn off the laptop before going to bed.

Invest in a Laptop Cooler or Cooling

Laptop coolers provide additional cooling. Before you purchase a cooler, you need to understand the airflow into and out of your laptop.
