IME Life Insurance Company Limited has announced the reconstitution of its audit committee. The decision was made during a board of directors meeting held on August 23.

The audit committee, which plays a crucial role in overseeing the company’s financial reporting and internal controls, will now be chaired by director Ravin Kumar Nepal. Nepal represents the general shareholders on the board of directors.
Joining Nepal on the audit committee are Sitaram Thapa, another member of the board of directors, and Dinesh Bahadur Amatya, the deputy chief executive officer. Amatya will also serve as the secretary of the committee.
The reconstitution of the audit committee is a routine process to ensure that the company’s financial affairs are being managed effectively and transparently.
