The bank not only clinched the coveted “Best Bank” award but also secured three additional titles.
The awards were bestowed upon Shine Resunga during the Banking Conclave 2024, a prestigious event organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce in New Delhi, India. The bank emerged as the top performer in the categories of “Best Performance on Profitability” and “Best Performance on Growth” among all participating banks from Nepal.
Competing against banks from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Myanmar, and other countries within the WIMSTEC region, Shine Resunga’s performance stood out in several key areas. The bank excelled in indicators such as total assets, total deposits, total loans and advances, net loans and advances, total interest earned, total interest expense, fee-based income, operating expenses, net profit after tax, provisions and contingencies, and other income.
Shine Resunga’s DCEO Lokraj Paneru and Chief Financial Officer Bhuvan Panth were present at the award ceremony to receive the prestigious honors.
