According to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the government focuses on developing a life-sustaining education that can benefit the nation and society.
On the occasion of the Technical Training Academy‘s 29th anniversary and with the help of the Korean government. Prime Minister Oli said that technical and life-sustaining education is essential for the country’s growth. This will take technical education forward along with the development of technology.
The Technical Education and Vocational Training Council Act 2045 BS created the Technical Education and Vocational Training Council in 1991. To coordinate with technical education and vocational training providers.
PM Oli said that the council has currently extended access to education and technology to basic and secondary level youth in 383 municipalities throughout the country.
Prime Minister Oli also emphasized the importance of developing workforce skills and increasing the ability to work as trainers as the council has generated a workforce, especially in agriculture, forestry, engineering, and health.
He said that certification should not be a concern after obtaining an education. But that education should be encouraged so that life can proceed smoothly.
He said that technical education, along with technological growth, should be prioritized as the government moves ahead with the national resolution of prosperous Nepal and happy Nepalis.
Under the technical assistance of US $5 million given by Korea to Nepal, plans are being made to improve the standard of trainers. At the same time, the building is being built and to acquaint them with information technology. A library has also been included in the structure.
