This landmark achievement underscores Indira IVF’s commitment to ethical, transparent procedures, setting a new benchmark in fertility care for the region.

The QAI certification stands as a testament to the clinic’s dedication to providing treatment that meets international standards. Moreover, it reinforces Indira IVF’s strong success rate and highlights its commitment to offering advanced fertility treatments. For patients, this accreditation is a guarantee of safe, reliable, and advanced fertility care, ensuring that they receive the highest level of healthcare delivery.

Commenting on the achievement, Dr. Neha Homagai, Center Head and IVF Specialist at Indira IVF Nepal shared, “At Indira IVF Nepal, we have always prioritized the highest standards of care with a personalized approach. Every patient who walks through our doors can expect top-notch care tailored to their unique needs. Fertility treatments in Nepal are undergoing a significant transformation, with increasing accountability and evolving policies. Our efforts to meet QAI’s rigorous standards empower our patients with the assurance that we are committed to ethical, patient-first care.”

Dr BK Rana, Chief Executive Officer of the Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI) stated, “Indira IVF, a renowned and the largest IVF hospital chain in India, recently expanded its operations to Nepal and has now become the first IVF/ART center in Nepal to be accredited by QAI. This accreditation marks a significant milestone for Indira IVF, further establishing its commitment to excellence in fertility care. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the management, staff, and patients for their support during the on-site assessment, showcasing openness and a positive attitude in sharing their experiences. We also offer our special commendation to our team of assessors for their dedication, passion, and expertise in conducting a smooth assessment. Congratulations to Indira IVF Nepal for achieving QAI Accreditation and for their unwavering commitment to understanding and supporting the needs of their patients.”

The ART center accreditation program of the Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI) was developed to bring quality, safety, credibility, and transparency to the services of ART centers. These are unique and first-of-its-kind specialty accreditation standards in Nepal, as well as in many parts of the world. QAI standards are developed using the principles of the International Society for Quality in Health Care External Evaluation Association (ISQuaEEA). They provide a framework and measurable system to facilities and patients by ensuring that the hospital or clinic has instituted processes that are customized to their patient’s unique needs and expectations and are consistently monitored for improvement. Additionally, the QAI standard provides healthcare facilities with a unique opportunity to not only acquire skills and competencies designed to strengthen their clinical services but also impact the organization’s performance.

The IVF sector in Nepal is rapidly evolving, with a growing awareness of infertility among the population. Indira IVF Nepal is at the forefront of this change, setting new benchmarks in fertility care with its state-of-the-art facilities and a team of experienced professionals, thereby fostering trust and confidence among those seeking reproductive treatments.

About QAI:

QAI was set up to create an ecosystem of education, training, quality improvement and accreditation/ certification. This organization provides a platform to stakeholders including professionals and organizations, associated with quality in any way, to share their wisdom and knowledge to make its Vision realized. This further provides tremendous opportunities for all concerned to learn and contribute in improving organizations engaged with QAI. Different activities are initiated under different verticals in a manner that they remain independent of each other.
