Infinix Hot 12 Play is incorporated with a massive battery, vast internal storage, and an attractive display that collectively offers an engaging entertainment experience.

Design and Display

The Infinix Hot 12 Play features a 6.82-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels. It has an HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, the phone 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.

In terms of design, the back has a more modern design than the front. In place of the typical waterdrop notch found on its predecessor, the phone now has a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. At the back, Infinix Hot 12 Play has a new rectangular camera bump.

The Hot 12 Play is available in Racing Black, Legend White, Origin Blue, and Lucky Green color options.

The device weighs 194.9 grams and has a thickness of 8.32mm with an 84.5% screen-to-body ratio.

Performance

The smartphone is powered by Unisoc T610 Processor CPU manufactured on 12 nm technology. This chipset includes an Octa-core (2×1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) processor. Similarly, the Mali-G57 MC2 handles graphics.

In terms of memory, the Hot 12 Play is available with a single memory option of 4/64GB from Infinix. Users will also be able to use virtual RAM technologies to increase the former up to 3GB. It is expandable up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card.

Furthermore, the smartphone boots Android 12 Play on top of XOS 10.6 skin.

Camera

The Infinix Hot 12 Play has a triple-camera setup at the back. It is powered by a 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. This is accompanied by a 2-megapixel macro shooter and a QVGA sensor. For better night photographs, the gadget has an LED flash. The device can record videos with a resolution of up to 1080p at a rate of 30 frames per second. On the front, there’s an 8 MP sensor with the ability to record 1080p films at 30fps.

Moving on, the system is powered by a large 6000mAh battery that comes with standard 10W charging. Furthermore, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and FM Radio. It also got different sensors like G-sensor, E-compass, gyroscope (by the sensor), light, and proximity.

Infinix Hot 12 Play went on sale in India from May 30 via Flipkart at INR 8,499 for the sole 4/64GB variant. The smartphone will be available starting June 6th exclusively on Daraz in Nepal. We expect the Infinix Hot 12 Play price in Nepal to be around NPR 13,999 when it launches.
