Insurance Leaders in Far-Western Nepal Form New Regional Body

Nepal Insurance Professional Society (NIPS) has established its Far-Western Regional Committee in Dhangadhi. The 12-member executive committee is led by Ganesh Bahadur Saud from Asian Life Insurance.

The committee’s formation followed a meeting of provincial and regional heads of life insurance companies operating across the Far-Western Province.

Leadership Roles Defined

Ganesh Bahadur Saud has been appointed President of the committee. Lakshmi Kant Jaishi from Sun Nepal Life has taken on the role of Vice-President. Suman Timilsina from IME Life is the General Secretary, while Nabin Kishor Bhatt from National Life serves as Secretary. Gangaram Joshi from Citizen Life has been selected as Treasurer.

Executive Members Announced

The committee boasts a team of highly experienced professionals who contribute diverse skills and expertise to its functioning. Among them is Dipak Bhatt from Nepal Life, who brings significant knowledge of the insurance industry and regional operations.
Lalit Air from LIC Nepal offers a wealth of experience in policy development and customer engagement. Prakash Chandra Joshi from Crest Micro Life adds value with his proficiency in innovative insurance practices and community outreach. Additionally, Chandra Bisht from Reliable Nepal Life strengthens the team with his strategic insights and operational expertise.
Together, these members ensure the committee is well-equipped to address the needs of the insurance sector in the Far-Western Province.

Advisory Team to Provide Guidance

An advisory committee has been formed to guide and support the executive team. It includes Ganesh Upreti from Sanima Reliance Life, Mohan Puri from Surya Jyoti Life, and Padam Rana from Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life. These advisors aim to strengthen the committee’s strategic direction.

Aiming for Professional Growth

The NIPS Far-Western Regional Committee aims to improve collaboration among insurance professionals in the region. It focuses on enhancing professional development, fostering better coordination, and promoting innovation in life insurance activities.

By bringing together leaders from various companies, the committee strives to ensure the advancement of the insurance industry in the Far-Western Province. This initiative also highlights NIPS’s commitment to strengthening the role of insurance professionals in regional development.
