Jaecoo J6 EV Unveiled

Hosted by Mr. Song Huaifu, Country Director for Omoda & Jaecoo Nepal, the livestream event took place in China, with distinguished guests from the Sharda Group, Media, and Influencers in attendance through online live stream.

With the success of the Omoda E5 in the Nepali market, SPG Automobiles launched Nepal’s first electric off-roader SUV at the NADA Auto Show 2024. Within the short time frame, the vehicle has gained huge popularity amongst the EV and auto enthusiasts. Recently, the Off-road event organized by the team in Dirt Temple has proclaimed its claim of pure off-road EV of Nepal. Customers and media got to experience the thrill of an off-road adventure showcasing its best-in-class ground clearance of 200mm, which is perfect for existing road conditions with enhanced safety and confidence while driving.

Jaecoo J6 accounts for both exquisite personality and fashion and practicality. There is a fashionable backpack equipped in the tailgate, which other cars on the same level haven’t. The J6’s power and performance showcase a class-leading acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds. Its small turning radius allows it to easily navigate any terrain. When performing an extreme U-turn, the vehicle activates All-Terrain Mode, reducing the turning radius from 5.7 meters to 4.5 meters. On flexible downhill drives, the vehicle ensures greater control on steep slopes or low-traction surfaces by adjusting the speed to the set target. For slow crawling, the vehicle can maintain the target speed by controlling the throttle and brakes, ensuring reliable control in off-road conditions. Water-wading capability is outstanding: the wire harness connectors are rated at IP67, and the battery is rated at IPX8 and IPX9, allowing for a maximum wading depth of 600mm. Whether it’s rain or shine, snow or desert, mud or gravel, its superior water-wading capability ensures you can navigate out of any situation with ease.

Other unique features include the motor-driven charging port door and a perfectly designed three-spoke steering wheel. The center console has two cup holders, adjustable for maximum flexibility. One of the favorite features is the wireless phone charging area, which comes with a ventilation system to keep the device cool while charging.
