Kia Sonet is trading vigorously in the Indian automobile market. In November, the Kia Sonet became the best-selling sub-compact SUV.

Sales of all Kia products are on the rise. Sales of all Kia vehicles have increased by 50 percent compared to November last year.

In this month, the Sonet has sold 11,417 units in the Indian market. This figure is 50 percent of the total vehicles sold in the subcompact segment. Earlier in the subcompact SUV segment, Vitara Brezza had a good market.

Kia Sonet in Nepal

The SONET was made public in Nepal on November 19. Anish Lamichhane, Assistant General Manager of Continental Trading Enterprises, the official distributor of Kia, said that Kia Sonet, which has become very popular in India, is equally popular in the Nepali market.

It is available in 4 variants including 3 diesel and one petrol.

  1. 1.2-liter petrol ‘HTE variant’
  2. HTK Plus AT variant of 1.5-liter diesel engine
  3. HTX variant of the 1.5-liter diesel engine
  4. GTX Plus variant of 1.5-liter diesel engine

Prices of Kia Sonet Variants

The company has priced the 1.2-liter petrol ‘HTE variant’ at Rs 3.59 million. It generates 82 bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque.

The HTK Plus AT variant of a 1.5-liter diesel engine has been priced at Rs 4.79 million. It generates 115 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque.

Similarly, the HTX variant of the 1.5-liter diesel engine has been priced at Rs 4.79 million. This engine generates 100 bhp of power and 240 Nm of torque.

The company has also priced the GTX Plus variant of the full-option 1.5-liter diesel engine at Rs 57.90 lakh. It generates 115 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque.

It has 6 airbags, 7 speakers, 10.25 HD touchscreen, wireless phone charger, leather seat and door panel, and ventilated seat for driver and passenger.
