Under the innovative scheme, individuals holding Talwi accounts with the bank can conveniently apply for loans and manage repayments seamlessly via the mobile banking app. The repayment tenure can be customized for 3, 6, 9, or 12 months, with provisions for pre-payment.

Additionally, customers eligible for the ADBL Instant Foneloan feature can avail themselves of the “Buy Now, Pay Later” facility, enabling credit payments at Fonepay merchants through QR transactions, thereby facilitating flexible repayment options.

The bank further extends its services by offering the “Convert to EMI” facility, allowing eligible customers to convert significant transactions into manageable monthly installments.

Registration for the ADBL Instant Foneloan service is streamlined through the mobile banking app, requiring only a verified email address. Loan eligibility is determined based on various factors such as active account usage, transaction history, and existing loan obligations with the bank.

Speaking on the initiative, Folon CEO, Sagar Sharma, emphasized the bank’s commitment to maximizing customer convenience by simplifying the loan process and offering instant digital loans through mobile banking.

Krishi Bikas Bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Govind Gurung, reiterated the institution’s dedication to providing convenient banking services, eliminating the need for physical visits and paperwork while ensuring swift access to financial assistance.
