Local Enterprise Ecosystem Flourishes Through Policy Lab and Workshops

IdeaAction’s resolute dedication to catalyzing local enterprise ecosystems has manifested through a series of groundbreaking programs and workshops conducted in 2079/80.

These events have not only breathed life into the entrepreneurial spirit but have also facilitated the digitalization of ecosystems, propelling local enterprises toward unprecedented success.

The following municipalities were the epicenters of this transformative journey:

Bhumlu Rural Municipality, Kavre:

Collaborating with local governments, IdeaAction orchestrated policy labs that laid the foundation for a robust enterprise ecosystem. Design thinking workshops ignited innovation, accelerating the startup and scale-up prospects for local enterprises.

Lalitpur Metropolitan City:

Ideation collided with execution as IdeaAction breathed life into the local entrepreneurial fabric of Lalitpur Metropolitan City. Entrepreneurs were armed with invaluable insights, equipping them to navigate the dynamic business landscape.

Kalika Municipality, Chitwan:

The sparks of innovation danced within the serene landscape of Kalika Municipality. IdeaAction’s workshops infused fresh perspectives and strategies, empowering local enterprises to thrive.

Gulariya Municipality, Bardiya:

IdeaAction’s reach extended to Gulariya Municipality, where the entrepreneurial flame was fanned with a commitment to sustainable growth. Digitalization and design thinking workshops fueled the aspirations of local businesses.

Cooperative Management Development Program Sparks Entrepreneurial Waves

In a stride towards fostering sustainable enterprises, IdeaAction collaborated with the National Cooperative Federation of Nepal to conduct a transformative Cooperative Management Development Program. This dynamic initiative was designed to empower cooperatives to champion small enterprises, a vital stride in Nepal’s economic landscape.

A Resounding Impact

Throughout the year, IdeaAction’s initiatives have cascaded through the entrepreneurial ecosystem, leaving a trail of transformation in their wake. A staggering number of participants were empowered and enlightened by these initiatives: over 1200 entrepreneurs, 60+ facilitators, and more than 60 policymakers were touched by the ripple effect of IdeaAction’s endeavors.
