Disable Adobe Flash

7th May 2021, Kathmandu

Windows 10 tie-up Adobe Flash for use with the Edge browser. Adobe Flash is getting outdated day by day with the development of new and modernized alternatives. Many of the web browsers have already removed support for flash since last year. Now Microsoft has also announced dropping the support for Flash in Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 devices from July 10.

Removing the Flash system does not mean that the installed Flash player will go out of the entire system. You will need to uninstall and remove them yourselves. If you are unknown about the process and have queries then here are some step-by-step guidelines that might be really helpful:

Remove Flash from Windows 10:

Firstly you must be sure whether the Flash Player is installed on your devices or not. To check that you must go to the control panel on the computer and then click on Uninstall a program option. Look for the Adobe Flash Player option. If that application is found it means that Flash is installed on the computer.

Now the steps to remove it are:

  1. To remove the Adobe flash player, simply click on the Adobe Flash option.
  2. Hit the Uninstall button from the top and follow the prompts and restart your computer once done.

It is a very short and simple process that makes your windows 10 devices free from Adobe Flash.
