LG announced and released a brand new LG G5 smartphone on February 2016 on the International Mobile Conference held on Barcelona. This phone comes up with an Android OS v6.0 Marshmallow. This phone supports GSM/HPSA/LTE network configurations. This phone has a dimension of 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7 mm (5.88 x 2.91 x 0.30 in) thickness of 7.7mm and weighs about 159 grams.
It uses the Single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) card. The display is of 16M colors and has IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen size is 5.3 inches, and the screen-to-body ratio is 70.1%. The screen resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels which are precisely 554 PPI pixel density. It supports multitouch and comes up with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and LG Optimus UX 5.0 UI along with always on display technology.
It has got Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, and CPU comprises of Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo processors. The GPU used is Adreno 530. The internal memory available is 32, and it contains 4GB RAM. It also supports micro SD slot that could be upgraded up to 200 GB which is a dedicated slot.
