LG Unveiled The Watch Urbane LTE At MWC To Show What The Future Holds

LG Watch Urbane LTE. There are many manufacturers of smartwatches these days. The major manufacturers are Apple, Pebble, Samsung. Google was lagging behind on this race of smartwatches manufactures a few while ago however this lag has been changed since Google has manufactured about half dozen Android watches from Sony, LG, Motorola, Asus and Samsung.
Google has released a new Android watch LG Watch Urban in cooperation with LG in March of 2015. The smartwatch has got a 1.3″ Full Circle P-OLED touchscreen with 320 x320 pixels approximately 348 PPI display technology and has reached the screen to body ratio of 56.8 %. This device can provide stunning image clarity all day long even while on super bright sunlight.
The dimension of this model is 45.5 x 52.2 x 10.9mm, and the 3G model weighs about 45 grams, and the LTE model weighs 115grams. This watch is built with stainless steel with a silver or gold finishing and is dust and water resistant upto 1 meter and 30 minutes time limit and also is IP67 certified.
This gear supports multitouch. The leather strap with white stitching is classy, but the ultra-soft leather strap found on the Moto 360 is preferred more. One can change up to 22 straps as per his mood.
The watch is compatible with a phone with OS version above than v4.0.2. The OS used in this watch is the LG Wearable Platform. It doesn’t contain an external memory slot. The chipset used is Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 whereas the processing speed of the CPU is 1.2Ghz and the CPU used is Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7. The GPU used is Adreno 305.
It has got 4 GB eMMC storage and comes up with a 1GB RAM. The sensors available in this watch are gyro, accelerometer, proximity, barometer and heart rate sensors. The Bluetooth technology used is Bluetooth v4.0 LE, and it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and NFC connectivity systems. GPS technology is available, but Radio is not present. The USB used is TBC technology.
The battery used in this LTE model is nonremovable Li-ion 700 mAh and has the battery life up to 48 hours talk time and contains a nonremovable Li-ion 400mAh battery in the 3G model. One can check whether, play music, measure his heartbeat and many more functions. The color available is gold, and it costs around $600.
