LIC Nepal Agents’ Convention: Ram Kumar Adhikari Leads New Committee

The Fourth National Convention of the LIC Nepal Professional Agents’ Association concluded on Saturday in Janakpur. A new 22-member central committee was elected under the leadership of Ram Kumar Adhikari.
LIC Nepal Agents’ Convention
The convention took place at the Marwari Sewa Samiti Auditorium. Delegates from different regions participated in the event. The newly elected team aims to strengthen the association and improve the insurance sector.
Key Appointments
Dilli Prasad Gadtola was elected as the senior vice president. Similarly, Khadga Bahadur Bista, Ganesh Sah, Ram Chandra Dhakal, and Govinda Prasad Giri were selected as regional vice presidents. They will represent Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Lumbini provinces.
Baijnath Chaudhary will serve as the secretary. Ramesh Kumar Lamichhane has been given the role of treasurer. Indra Bahadur Thapa, Harendra Patel, and Kopila Basnet were chosen as assistant secretaries. Likewise, Kalpana Khadka will take over as the assistant treasurer.
Executive Committee Members
The convention also elected several executive members. Shankar Teli Gupta, Om Prakash Mandal, Puran Hitanga, Santoshi Mahato, Deepak Kumar Pasi, Nitesh Kumar Prasad, Kishori Panjiyar, Chok Bahadur Bhandari, Bindu Kumar Shrestha, and Dinesh Kumar Maurya secured positions in the committee.
Leadership Goals
The newly formed leadership is committed to improving the professionalism of insurance agents. Their focus is on enhancing the welfare of agents and ensuring better service for clients. The association plans to expand its network across Nepal and address challenges in the insurance industry.
Adhikari expressed his gratitude to the members for their trust. He emphasized teamwork and innovation in the insurance sector. Other elected members also shared their commitment to the association’s goals.
The convention successfully concluded with enthusiasm. The new leadership now prepares to take on its responsibilities and work toward the betterment of the insurance sector.
