Different new practices are taking place for the development and expansion of Nepal’s Information Technology sector. At the same time, Nepal’s leading IT Media Living with ICT is organizing the second edition ‘ICT Awards 2017’ to honor the experts and talents of the ICT sector.
The award program is being conducted with the behavior of respecting the elder and encouraging the new ones in the field of technology. The program is going to be performed on 2nd Bhadra of 2074. The Jury group consisting of experts in the ICT field will honor the final winner at the event with an award after different stages of selection processes.
This year different categories have been incorporated in ICT Award.; ICT Startup Company 2017, Best Innovation Product Award 2017, ICT Pioneer Award 2017, ICT Scholar Awards and Best Nepali Diaspora 2017 are among the different categories.
To participate in the award, visit the site ‘www.ictawardnepal.com’ and submit an online form under a particular category. Forms can be filled through the official mobile app of Living With ICT too.
The online registrations have been started from today. Those companies who want to participate will have to submit their form within 15th July (31st of Asar).
Companies which are less than 3-years new are eligible to take part in the Startup Company Award whereas based on products developed within a year; a product can be registered for Innovative Product Award. Furthermore, for ICT Scholar Award products made by students of IT or Engineering can be registered. Moreover, ICT Diaspora Award will be provided to a foreign company or person who can introduce and reflect Nepal.
On the occasion of the Anniversary of Living with ICT Magazine powered by ICT Tech Media, ICT Award started from last year. Last year, Sato deal, Cool Techno Lab, NepFlight and Yellow Nepal won an award. This year’s ICT Award has three news categories as compared to last year’s.
ICT Media are trying to provide some contribution to Nepal’s Information and Technology Department. This year, the program is being conducted on the occasion of 5th Anniversary of the magazine. ICT Award Program will take place continuously with new categories added every year.
