Bipu Ojha and his teammate Tuan Khuat have emerged as winners in the prestigious Cyber Security Challenge at the CDU Information Technology CodeFair, hosted by Charles Darwin University (CDU).

Local Talent Shines in Cybersecurity

The Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, organized by CDU in collaboration with NEC Australia and other sponsors, attracted participants from diverse backgrounds, all eager to showcase their cybersecurity skills.

Ojha expressed his excitement, describing the experience as an exhilarating dive into the world of cybersecurity, with each challenge testing and enhancing their problem-solving abilities. “The thrill of solving those challenges was unmatched,” he said.

Ojha extended heartfelt thanks to CDU and the event sponsors for creating such an engaging and educational platform. He also acknowledged the invaluable support and guidance from Prof. Bharanidharan Shanmugam, Jeroen Schijvenaars, Carter Smith, and Damien Charles, whose mentorship played a crucial role in their success.

The team looks forward to further challenges and learning experiences as they continue their journey in cybersecurity.
