Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited Urges Shareholders to Claim Unclaimed Dividends Over Five Years Old

Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited has issued a 30 day public notice requesting eligible shareholders to collect dividend amounts that have remained unclaimed for more than five years.

Legal Basis and Claim Instructions
Regulatory Framework: The notice has been published pursuant to Section 183(6) of the Companies Act 2063 BS and Clause 19(4) of Directive No. 19 under Nepal Rastra Bank Unified Directive 2081 BS.
Claim Process: Shareholders must present valid identification documents at the Central Office of Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited in Dillibazar Kathmandu within 30 days of the notice publication.
Transfer to Investor Protection Fund: Dividends left unclaimed after the 30 day deadline will be transferred to the Investor Protection Fund in accordance with prevailing laws.

Former GP Development Bank Limited (FY 2067/68): NPR 130,573.27.
Former Lumbini Finance and Leasing Company Limited (FY 2067/68, FY 2069/70, FY 2070/71, and FY 2071/72): NPR 2,507,968.48.
Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (FY 2075/76): NPR 2,930,696.03.
Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (FY 2076/77): NPR 675,416.36.
