NADA Commits NPR 1 Million to Disaster Relief Fund; Auto Show 2026 to Go On

NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal announces NPR 1 million for Bhote Koshi flood victims while confirming that the NADA Auto Show 2026 will continue as scheduled.

NADA Commits NPR 1 Million

The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) has expressed profound grief over the massive loss of life and property caused by the severe floods in the Bhote Koshi River affecting Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and Chitwan districts.

NPR 1 Million Relief Fund Contribution

Standing firmly with the state during this national disaster, NADA has officially decided to contribute NPR 1 million (Ten Lakh Rupees) to the “Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund” to support immediate rescue and rehabilitation efforts. NADA has also strongly appealed to all automobile-related businesses across Nepal to unite and assist in relief operations.

NADA Auto Show 2026 Status

This major natural calamity struck while the flagship NADA Auto Show 2026 was underway at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Emphasizing the need to keep economic activities dynamic while fighting the disaster, NADA has confirmed that the NADA Auto Show 2026 will continue its operations uninterrupted.

NADA President Surendra Kumar Upreti highlighted that overcoming this crisis requires a collective, synergistic effort between the government, private sector, and civil society.
