The agreement was formalized today during a program held in the college’s seminar hall.

The workshop, which focused on key aspects of cyber security and ways to prevent cyber threats, was led by Mukund Tamli, a professor from the Indian Institute of Ethical Hacking. Tamli, the main speaker of the event, provided valuable insights into the growing importance of cyber security in today’s digital age. His session aimed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect themselves and others from cyber risks.

The event was graced by the presence of Campus President Mahendra Bahadur Pandey as the chief guest. In his address, Pandey emphasized the importance of integrating such workshops into the college curriculum to raise awareness not only in the classroom but also in the personal lives of students. He reiterated his commitment to making Madan Bhandari Memorial College a leading IT hub, fostering an environment that supports innovation and learning in the field of technology.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Campus Head Baburam Adhikari and Vijay Amrit Chaudhary, the Academic Head of Danfe Link Company. The agreement marks the beginning of a series of cyber security workshops that will be conducted regularly as part of the college’s non-credit offerings. This initiative aligns with the campus’s policy to provide students with practical knowledge that complements their academic pursuits.

According to Fulbabu Jha, Head of the School of Science and Technology Department, the workshop saw enthusiastic participation from over 70 students enrolled in B.Sc. and B.Sc. CSIT programs. The positive response from students underscores the growing interest in cyber security as a critical area of study and practice.
