Reuben Paul is 12 years old and Sixth-grade student from Austen. He hacks household items to showcase how they can be exploited to spy or even more harm people.
David Begnaud, CBS reporter recently meet the Paul who claims himself as the cyber ninja, Paul showed him how smart toys can be turned to listening devices.
The 12 years old kid is helping to lead the conversation on cybersecurity in many parts of the world. He is on a mission to show how hacking is a child play.
Paul informs that the Bluetooth and Wifi connection that we use almost every day is extremely vulnerable for hacking. The cyber ninja has also exposed the security gaps in popular gadgets.
While Begnaud was conversating with Paul, he hacked Begnaud’s twitter account that was operating through Paul’s wifi network.
Paul also hacked the cloud pets teddy bear, that uses Bluetooth technology allowing traveling parents to send messages back to their kids. He turned a teddy bear into the secret recording device.
Ruben aspires to work for NSA or FBI in future to save country against domestic and foreign cyber threats.
