Anisha Thapa is a final year law student of National Law College, Tribhuvan University. She has completed her internship in Kathmandu District Court. She also worked as an intern in Democracy Research Center, Nepal. She is a founding member of Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Metropolis and is serving as a Secretary for this year. She is also a member of the Nepalese Law Student Community.
Ms. Anisha will be speaking on Cyber Law and Victimization of children in Cyber World. Today, the danger to children is even greater because the Internet provides predators anonymity. Whether the victimization occurs in person or over the Internet, the process is the same—the perpetrator uses the information to target a child victim. And the laws are not competent enough to tackle the crimes and it’s a high time we incorporate cyber forensics in the investigation process.
