Nepal CRS Company has launched a mobile app called ‘Meri Sangini’ related to family planning.

The company has launched Meri Sangini mobile app to provide detailed information about temporary and short-term family planning tools.

The information provided by Meri Sangini about the temporary and short-term family planning tools and the general side effects of using them is beneficial for anyone of reproductive age, especially teenagers and newlyweds.

The ‘Frequently Asked Questions section in the app will provide more detailed information to users of temporary and short-term family planning tools and help potential users make informed choices.

The app will also provide addresses and maps of pharmacies, clinics, and Sangini service centers that provide temporary and short-term family planning tools near him.

Director of Family Welfare Division Dr. Taranath Pokhrel says the role of mobile technology is crucial in increasing access to family planning tools and that the Meri Sangini app will help consumers make informed choices about temporary contraceptives.

Nepal CRS Company has conducted many programs related to family planning, maternal and child health, and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and behavioral change for more than four decades in line with social marketing principles.
