The Kathmandu Metropolitan City is going to run an ‘innovation program’. For to enhance the creative potential of students studying in community schools.
The program will be conducted in 25 schools in the metropolis. In order to develop and flourish the creative side of students in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
The corporation has already selected the school and also signed an agreement for this.
Moti Prasad Bhattarai, Officer of Kathmandu Metropolitan Education Branch, said. That this type of program has been implementing from the internal resources of the metropolis. Also to enhance the creative potential of the students.
According to him. A group of up to 20 people will be formed in each secondary school. For to strengthen the creative side of the students studying from class 5 to 9.
The group meets twice a month to share new creations with friends at school.
The metropolis has provided one lakh rupees to each school this time. In order to help the students in creating new things in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
The science teacher has appointed as the leader of the group. In addition, the school will be able to provide an additional budget. To the group if it has its own internal resources. Shivpuri Secondary School has been given the responsibility of coordinating the program.
The aim is to showcase the creations made by the students who belong to this group. It is said that the exchange of creative side experiences from the students of another school will increase the capacity of the students.
