Nabil Bank has started a QR-payment service in the Dhumbarahi vegetables and fruits sales center located in Kathmandu.
On Tuesday morning, Bhuwan Kandel, executive director of Nepal Rastra Bank, inaugurated the service buying the vegetables and paying through QR-Code.
Consumers visiting the market can now easily make payments for the bought fruits and vegetables through their mobile banking applications or mobile wallet.
This event was attended by the executive director of Nepal Rastra Bank, senior management staff, executive members, and sales center businessmen of Dhumbarahi vegetables and fruits center.
