Nabil Bank Opens Applications for Nabil SSE Seventh Fellowship Cohort and Certificate Course

Nabil Bank Limited has officially announced the opening of applications for the Seventh Cohort of the Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship (Nabil SSE) Fellowship Program and new cohorts of the Nabil SSE Certificate Course to promote sustainable entrepreneurship across Nepal.

Applicant Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Nepali citizens
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years old
• Profile: Aspiring entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas or individuals who have already started an operating enterprise
• Mandatory Attendance Requirement: Selected participants must maintain a minimum of 90 percent attendance rate throughout the program
• Target Groups Encouraged: Women, youth, and individuals from poor, disadvantaged, underserved, and marginalized communities

Program Overview and Structure

• Nabil SSE Fellowship Program: An intensive 5 to 6-month enterprise development program implemented in collaboration with the School of Management, Tribhuvan University (SOMTU). It provides practical learning, mentoring, field exposure, and business model testing for early-stage or existing impact-oriented enterprises.
• Nabil SSE Certificate Course: A 3-month practice-oriented course conducted via partner academic institutions across the country to equip students, early-stage founders, and micro/small business operators with fundamental business planning and model validation tools.

Since its establishment in 2021 as Nabil Bank’s flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the platform has delivered significant measurable impact:

• Total Participants Trained: 1,580 participants
• Total Enterprises Established: 318 enterprises
• Total Employment Opportunities Generated: 19,303 direct and indirect employment/livelihood opportunities
• Fellowship Specific Impact: 113 fellows trained across 6 cohorts resulting in 93 fellow-led enterprises
• Certificate Course Specific Impact: 1,467 participants trained resulting in 225 enterprises established
