Jabbor Kayumov, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ncell inspired and encouraged youths who participated in the Kathmandu Youth Conclave, 2023 held on Saturday (August 26).

The conclave was a youth-centric leadership event that brought together youths from diverse educational backgrounds, communities, and geographical locations to a common symposium.

This year’s edition the Kathmandu Youth Conclave (KYC) was held at the Nepal Academy Hall with a theme of ‘Inspiring Youth, Leading the Nation’.

Jabbor was one of the key inspirational speakers at the event. Addressing the event attended by over 5,000 youth aged between 16 to 25, he urged the youth with his moving speech to have a hunger to learn more and work with passion for their goal with perseverance. Jabbor encouraged the youth to be competitive, find their passion, and work on it to make it a reality. He said, “Competition makes you better. Good competitors make you even better.”

Sharing his inspiring journey, his experiences, and key leadership principles with the enthusiastic youths, Jabbor emphasized the importance of planning and the need to possess grit. He said, “If you want to do better and want to achieve bigger, you need to have passion to learn and dream what you believe in and visualize to make it happen.”

Other inspirational speakers at the conclave included renowned Ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Ruit, famous Master Chef Santosh Shah, Trail Runner Mira Rai, CEO of eSewa Jagdish Khadka, Cricketer Paras Khadka and motivational speaker Rupesvara Gaura Das, among others.

“I am truly inspired to witness the energy of our youths and connect with them in person. This conclave indeed provided an ideal platform for Ncell to reaffirm its commitment to nurturing youths and promoting local talent. I am equally thankful to the team of KYC for having me as one of the speakers and allowing me to share my thoughts among the youths”.

The Kathmandu Youth Conclave was jointly organized by Universal College and Phoenix College of Management with the aim of sharing the knowledge, skills, and experiences of accomplished individuals who have achieved success.
