Ncell Launches 4G Service in Over 1,000 Locations

Ncell Private Limited has expanded the Mobile Service 4G-Long Term Evolution Network (LTE), for further mobile network services in more than 1,000 locations in the country. Intending to provide quality services to the users by introducing newer technologies like LTE, Ncell has started this project.

Ncell announced that its 4G service reached the Nepali residents living in more than 1,000 locations in all the seven states of the country.

Now almost every city and locations that aren’t in the town too will receive faster mobile broadband services, and users can enjoy the facilities provided by these services. The Executive head of Ncell, Andy Chong said, “We are very pleased to announce our customers’ will have access to mobile connectivity quickly, including locations outside the urban areas, and the company is going to expand this service even more widely.”

With service extensions, all the prepaid and postpaid customers using mobile sets which support Ncell 4G sim and 4G services will enjoy the fast mobile Broadband service.

The growth in 4G-LTE technology will improve the effectiveness of the frequency management, and thus high-speed Internet services are available, and the customers will be able to use better apps on their mobile devices, exchange important files instantly, and see high-quality video content easily on their devices.

Two years ago, on Jestha 18, 2074, Ncell started its 4G service within Kathmandu valley, including places like Nagarkot, Banepa, and Dhulikhel.

This service was limited to 21 different cities in the country by Poush 2075. Now, this service is available in more than 1,000 locations including Biratnagar, Itahari, Janakpur, Bharatpur, Bhairahawa, Butwal, Baglung, Nepalgunj, Tulsipur, Tamghas, Palpa, Krishnanagar, Bardibas, Rajbiraj, Malangwa, and Dhankuta.

Customers who have not yet converted their sim card to 4G can only go to the nearby enclosure center and exchange their regular sim card with a 4G Ncell sim card for only Rs. 1. , the customer must present their citizenship or driver’s license. While changing sim cards, the customer’s mobile number will not change.

Also, customers will also get 1GB 4G data. Received data will be valid for seven days, and it can be used during the daytime, i.e. from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ncell has claimed that expanded service will reach 44 districts within two years. Ncell added that the company is committed to increasing access to 4G service and bringing various attractive offers to customers.
