This New Year, Ncell customers using iPhones can benefit from access to Ncell Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) service. With the successful launch of VoLTE on Android earlier in 2022, Ncell has now made this service available on the iOS platform.
Ncell VoLTE now available on iOS
- iPhone 8 and above series can avail VoLTE
- 100 minutes on-net VoLTE talk time bonus
- 2GB 4G data bonus on eSIM upgrade
VoLTE is a new technology that provides superior quality high-definition (HD) voice calls along with almost instant call connection. With VoLTE service, voice calls can be made on the 4G network, using the data service at a normal voice tariff.
Customers upgrading to VoLTE service will receive 100 minutes of on-net VoLTE talk time valid for 28 days. Subscribers who are using iPhone 8 series and above are eligible for VoLTE upgrade. Eligible iPhone users can dial *17201# to activate VoLTE and get free talk time.
There is also one more scheme for iPhone users in the Ncell network. Under this scheme, customers receive 2GB bonus data valid for 7 days for upgrading from physical SIM to eSIM free of charge.
This bonus data is applicable to Ncell users who have purchased the device from Nepal’s authorized Apple outlets.
Eligible iPhone users can dial 17125 for information on upgrading eSIM, or they can simply type their citizenship number, and email ID, and send an SMS to 17125.
Your physical SIM will be upgraded to eSIM post-verification. Non-Ncell users can visit the nearest Ncell center to get a new Ncell eSIM free of charge.
Customers can use Ncell VoLTE service all over Nepal where Ncell 4G network is available. To enjoy the service, customers will need to turn on their 4G settings in their eligible handsets.
