The Government of Nepal has officially approved the Software Development and Operation Committee Formation Order, 2083. This milestone decision was made during the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, as announced by government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel.

Software Development and Operation Committee: The cabinet formally endorsed the establishment order presented by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to streamline digital and software initiatives.
Salary Boost for School Staff: Following a proposal from the Ministry of Education and Sports, the federal government grant for Early Childhood Development (ECD) facilitators, school administrative staff, and school assistants has been increased by NPR 5,000 per month.
Teacher Salary Parity: Teachers working under teaching grant quotas in secondary grades (9–10) and basic grades (6–8) will now receive salaries equivalent to Secondary Third Class and Lower Secondary Third Class positions, respectively.
Japan Grant Assistance: The Ministry of Finance secured approval to accept grant assistance of approximately 2.73 billion Japanese Yen from the Government of Japan for the Air Traffic Control Improvement Project at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Aviation Agreement: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation received authorization to sign a bilateral Air Service Agreement between the Government of Nepal and Saudi Arabia.
Regional Cooperation: Approval was granted to establish a sub-center branch of the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) in Nepal under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Cross-Border Management Meeting: The cabinet approved a delegation led by a Joint Secretary from the Ministry of Home Affairs to participate in the 14th Joint Working Group on Border Management meeting, scheduled to be held in India on September 4 and 5, 2083.
