Why did you want to be a journalist?

I grew watching well-dressed anchors presenting news on TV. I remember when I was a kid I used to love sitting in front of the television and watching news bulletins even I had no clue what the news meant to be. The media profession always fascinated me. And finally, I happened to enter the media world when I completed my 12th. Since then I am happy being called a journalist. Being in media or being a journalist, you affect the life of n number of people around the world.

It means you come to be a part of their life. And it feels pretty awesome if you are touching countless hearts through your profession. That is the primary reason I chose to be a media-person. I worked in a radio station, TV channel and currently working as an Editor-In-Chief in a renowned internet media company, i.e., WittyFeed. www.wittyfeed.com is the second largest company in the world for viral content. It is listed among the top 100 websites in the USA. We serve viral/trending content to the people of different age groups.

What are your interests?

I love surfing the Internet wandering over the websites that give updates of worldwide happenings. Besides this, I love reading, writing, learning new stuff, etc.

Who is your favorite journalist, and why?

Among many names, Kate Adie has always been my inspiration. She is one of the daring female journalists I ever have seen. She worked for BBC for almost 35 years and actively went to the war zones to cover news and reports. Her dedication to her profession always motivated me.

Describe yourself in one Sentence

An ordinary girl with extraordinary dignity.

How do you follow major news stories?

Since we are associated with the Internet media company, we need to stay alert 27/7. And we always give our best to serve our readers fast and first content. Regarding the tracking of viral/trending news and content, we use several tools that exist on the Internet.

Will you please share us your habit on the use of social media?

Social media has become a crucial part of everyone’s life. And I’m the one. You can find me active on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora, etc.
