Shreya Giri has been named to Forbes’ 30 under 30 list for 2024, which was published on Thursday. The list features 300 young entrepreneurs, leaders, and trailblazers from across the Asia-Pacific region.

Giri, 28, the founder of Nepali digital mental health platform Happy Minds, was listed by the prestigious magazine in the social impact category. After completing her Master’s in London, Giri returned to Nepal, noticing the significant lack of available mental health support, especially during the pandemic. In 2020, she founded “Happy Minds” to tackle the stigma and trust issues related to mental health problems in Nepali society.
Happy Minds also has an Employment Assistance Program, collaborating with organizations such as Unilever Nepal, Leapfrog, and The British College to offer free psychological counseling to their employees. Giri’s visionary leadership and notable contributions to mental health awareness and visionary leadership have earned her an esteemed spot in the Social Impact category of the renowned list.
