In a significant leap toward modernizing Nepal’s telecommunications infrastructure, the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has officially released the draft document titled “Mobile Broadband Enhancement Plan (Nepal’s Road to 5G)”. The authority has invited feedback, comments, and suggestions from industry stakeholders, tech experts, and the general public within 15 days.
The roadmap has been formulated following an in-depth analysis of the current market dynamics, exponentially rising data demand, international best practices, service providers’ operational data, and extensive industry consultations.
