Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) has appointed Mr. Mahesh Sharma Dhakal, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Investment Mega Bank Ltd. as one of the Directors on the Board, representing commercial banks.
Similarly, Mr. Jagadish Dahal, Advocate, has been appointed as Independent Director on the Board. The decisions were taken by the 206th Board of NCHL held on 28th March 2023.
NCHL is promoted by Nepal Rastra Bank and the banks & financial institutions. Its Board comprises representatives from Nepal Rastra Bank, 3 from commercial banks, 1 each from Development Banks & Finance Companies, and an independent director.
NCHL has been engaged in establishing and operating multiple national payment systems in Nepal.
