SEE Talent Show

Nextgen, a student-run global non-profit organization, is all set to organize an event, “SEE Talent Show: See the star in you,” targeting recent SEE graduates. It is a mega platform for all the SEE students to charge their creative instincts and showcase their talents. The winning participant will get a chance to be admitted to the best +2 campuses of Kathmandu with a 100% scholarship and winning cash prizes up to NRS. 75,000.

Prizes

Winner: 100% scholarship + Nrs. 10k + Certificate

1st runner up: 75% scholarship + Nrs. 5k + Certificate

2nd runner up: 50% scholarship + Certificate

For Super 30:  25% scholarship + Certificate

SEE graduate students can showcase their talents, ideas, or creation. There are different categories. The talent showcased on the periphery of current issues can be a bonus for them. The current issues can be pandemic, natural disasters, women violence, corruption, and so on.

Categories:

  1. Arts(Sketch/Painting/Crafts)
  2. Entertainment(Singing/Dancing/Comedy/Acting)
  3. Verbal(Poem/Speech/Debate)
  4. Sports
  5. Quiz

Participants have to send a short video of their talent. The top 30 participants will be selected through those videos. Performance of these 30 selected participants will be shown, two days in a row, on 30t, July and 31st July. Based on their performance, Top 3 will be announced.

The mission of this event is to give students a platform to showcase their talent and provide scholarships as well as support for SEE students who participate in this talent show and make them feel motivated, supported to develop their confidence and capability in their talent.

There will be a panel of speakers and judges to motivate students. Audiences can join the show through the same registration link.

NxtGen has been organizing different events, some of the prominent ones being QuantumHack and Hult Prize at IOE, Pulchowk Campus. The co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak, made his presence for the first time in QuantumHack for the first time in South Asia.
