OPPO has come up with the release of yet another mid-range phone with a huge battery backup. The OPPO A9 2020 houses multiple cameras with enough storage to cope with the user’s needs. The phone houses quite a few features that make it a tough competitor against similar devices such as the Vivo S1 and Galaxy m40.
The device is 6.5-inch-wide with an HD+ IPS LCD display that has the aspect ratio of 19.5:9 along with a gorilla glass protection fitted over the display panel. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor that is backed up by an 8 GB RAM chip and 128 GB internal storage with the availability of a microSD card slot fitted to it.
The phone consists of a quad-camera setup on the back. A 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor that has been dominantly seen in other smartphones is also seen in the OPPO A9. The setup further consists of an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 MP depth sensor and 2 MP macro lens. The front camera is fitted inside the notch of the display which houses a 16 MP camera.
The OPPO A9 promises great battery backup with a 5000 mAh battery that supports fast charging as well. The design for the device is stylish with a 3D curved plastic body with a gradient finish. The rear side of the phone holds the fingerprint sensor, so the in-display sensor is absent on the device. It runs over the Android 9.0 with ColorOS 6.0.1.
The OPPO A9 2020’s cost is retailed to be Rs. 35,990. Distributions of the phone began on October 1, 2019.
