The "Digital Nepal Framework 2.0" is an ambitious plan, but is it just words on paper? In this video, we dive into the critical issues raised by stakeholders regarding its practical implementation. From the Nepal Chamber of Commerce to the Federation of Computer Association of Nepal (CAN Federation), experts are highlighting a stark reality: Young tech entrepreneurs face immense hurdles, including a lack of clear legal frameworks for company registration and crippling tax burdens. We explore how these challenges are pushing Nepal's bright young minds to seek opportunities abroad, leading to a significant brain drain. Join us as we uncover the calls for the government to move beyond political slogans and take concrete action. This includes simplifying regulations, providing tax incentives, and creating a supportive ecosystem to retain and empower Nepal's tech youth.
