Payment service provider Paywell Nepal has launched and various transactions can be done through a digital medium

Payment services provider Paywell Nepal Pvt. Ltd. has been launched. Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Chintamani Siwakoti launched the paywell on Monday.

Paywell Nepal has come into operation under the leadership of people with long experience in business fields such as finance, education, securities, cooperatives, health, hotels, and tourism.

Digital payment services will be provided. Launched under the slogan ‘Send, receive and pay money Nepal.’ Paywell offers services for the payment of electricity, drinking water, hospital, hotel, restaurant bills, telephone, internet, school fees, air ticket transactions, and other utility services.

The company also said it would provide convenient, cheap, safe, and secure ways to receive, send, deposit, and withdraw money, buy and sell shares, pay government revenue, and other digital payment services.

Paywell Nepal can be downloaded from the Android Smartphone PlayStore and the iOS App Store.

 Paywell is planning to provide payment services through offline technology in areas where secure internet services are not available. It is intended to provide service via USSD and SMS for this reason.

Paywell says that it has developed its wallet system using state-of-the-art technology.
