Most of the work can be done online in Nepal. There is pretty much everything available on the digital platform. Such as paying bus fares, booking tickets, even in vegetable markets, etc can be done either online or by QR-code.

Now, with the idea of making Pokhara Metropolitan City a digital market. An agreement has signed between E-Sewa and Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Along with the agreement, every member of the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as other shops, will be able to accept electronic payments.

The Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry is home to 71 commodity associations as well as 3500 businesses and companies. Bindukumar Thapa, a member of the Gandaki Pradesh Sabha, launched the agreement program.

He said that online payments would assist in the prevention of corruption. He said that many people are required to operate in several locations for cash payments. And that there is a need for e-services in the field of digital payments today. Because they are very economically efficient.

Speaking at the QR and Digital Partnership Agreement program, Narayan Koirala, President of the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, ‘As QR’s popularity has increased in recent times. And its cash-carrying system has steadily declined, we have taken measures to increase its use.’

Roshan Lamichhane, COO of E-Sewa, said that the association has been working with the association for the right and highest use of technology for the interaction of the association and its members. As well as for digital payment and technology-friendly cities and businesses.

In recent days, E-Sewa, which provides payment services through mobile and internet, has been adding various services. To remove the hassle of paying fees in the government sector.

Presently, there are approximately 4.5 million direct account openers in E-Sewa. Similarly, approximately 15 million people receive services indirectly via E-Sewa. E-Sewa currently has over one lakh agents across the world. Similarly, there are nearly 200,000 vendors.
