In line with the company’s commitment to Sadhain ON and enhancing customer experience, Ncell has integrated the Nepal Police reporting functionality into its app. Users can file applications for the Police Report directly through the app and obtain it online.

A Police Report is an official document that provides information about the criminal status of the applicant for various purposes such as criminal record, immigration, foreign employment, abroad study, or other legal needs.

Police Report feature integrated into the Ncell App

  • Easy online application filing via the Ncell App for Police Clearance Certificate
  • No data charge for reporting crime and Police Clearance Registration, etc.

Effective August 13, Ncell has also zero-rated the Nepal Police website, https://www.nepalpolice.gov.np/. This allows customers to browse the website for various online services, such as reporting crimes and applying for the Police Clearance Certificate, without any data charge. This means that customers can access services via the website for free of data charge.

“As a responsible corporate citizen, we are delighted to collaborate with Nepal Police to make its services available digitally via our customer-friendly app with no balance charge applied. Initiatives like these are basic requirements if we envision a digital society and country,” said Vishal Upadhyay, Chief Regulatory Office of Ncell. “Enhancing the essence of Sadhain ON, Ncell is working to add additional features to the Ncell App in collaboration with like-minded partners, such as banks, to provide services digitally and support the government’s Digital Nepal vision.”

The Ncell App has redefined the concept of self-service in Nepal by making it a must-have self-care app for the digital transformation of the customer journey. The app has been updated using local IT talent and provides customers with a broad range of information, products, services, and more.

The app is also a one-stop solution for the Nepali migrant population while roaming, whether for a short or extended period. It allows them to easily recharge, buy packs, and use their SIM to stay connected without any hassle. Customers can easily update the Ncell App or download it from the Google Play Store and App Store.
