Kusum Lama – Vice President of Prabhu Group, was awarded this year National ICT Excellence Award 2021 (Woman).
On the occasion of ICT Day 2021, the government announced the award to Lama on Sunday. Stating that she has made a significant contribution to the country’s information and communication technology.
She said that the award increased her responsibility. I am motivated to work with more enthusiasm in the days ahead. I’m going to put more effort into digitization.
Lama leads more than a dozen businesses and organizations as the Vice President of Prabhu Group.
She led the way from Hello Paisa to the concept of a mobile money operator through Fin Access in 2013 to a Mediflow system that makes hospitals more tech-friendly.
Several digital finance literacy programs are currently underway under Lama’s leadership.
She said that the award achieved her dream of doing more and moving forward.
She said that digitization has become more necessary in the country at a time when the country is experiencing corona infection.
