Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Contributes NPR 5.1 Million to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Limited has provided financial assistance to support emergency rescue, relief, and long-term rehabilitation operations following devastating flooding along the Bhotekoshi River basin.

Financial Contribution and Official Handover
Total Contribution: The life insurance provider contributed NPR 5.1 million (NPR 51 lakh) directly to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Official Delegation: Board Chairperson Sanjhana Aryal, Board Members Birendra Jung Pandey and Shamsher Parajuli, and Chief Executive Officer Santosh Prasai formally presented the contribution check to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle at the Ministry of Finance.
Strategic Objective: The funds are designated to reinforce state-managed search and rescue activities, food distribution, medical care, and post-disaster infrastructure reconstruction.

Target Impact Zone: The assistance directly addresses the widespread destruction caused by the Bhadra 10 flood disaster along the Bhotekoshi River, impacting communities across Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and Chitwan districts.
